Lisa graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Boston University in 1981. She worked in publishing at Boardroom Reports, Simon & Schuster, Women’s Wear Daily and American Artist Magazine and is currently a docent at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. A co-founding partner of Collegistics and active community volunteer, Lisa sits on the Board of STEP (Student Transfer Education Program), where she is responsible for student recruitment. She also served as Scarsdale’s Area Chair for UJA Federation for several years, has worked on various projects for My Sisters’ Place, was a Scarsdale Alternative School Parent Representative and has chaired and/or served on many Scarsdale PTA committees including Cultural Arts, Community Service, Learning from our Differences, Learning to Look, and The Young Writers’ Conference. Elected to the Scarsdale School Board Nominating Committee, she continues to serve on SBNC’s Administrative and Joint Committees. She has recently joined Westchester Reform Temple’s Syrian Refugee Initiative, and is serving on the Advisory Board for the Montefiore Einstein Program for Jewish Genetic Health. Lisa has been honored for her service by the Scarsdale Women's Campaign for UJA Federation and My Sisters' Place.
