sq The Collegistics Story

Our first foray into college advising began when our own children were beginning the college application process. We supported their exploration, assisting with research, school visits, interview preparation, essay development and ultimately, their final decisions as to where to attend college. Having successfully negotiated the college process multiple times with our children, friends sought our advice, wondering, "How did you manage to get through this process with your family and your sanity intact?"

As time went by, word spread. Our next step was to offer others what we were already doing for friends. What some found arduous and sometimes unbearable, we saw as stimulating and rewarding. We believed then, and continue to believe, that this period should be an exciting time for students and their families.

Together, we formed Collegistics to offer the kind of practical and emotional support that results in an informed and less stressful college application experience. We accomplish this by using a team approach, providing families the benefit of multiple college advisors focused on the needs of their children at this important time.

What began for each of us as an individual personal endeavor blossomed into an independent college advising business. We work with families who are local to Westchester, as well as with those who reside in the greater Manhattan area, and indeed in communities across the United States. Our independent college advising business provides students and their families with unequalled personal guidance in all matters related to the college process
